๐ŸŽ™๏ธ icymi: Stories Without Borders podcast interview
Me with host Hollyn Alpert. She's a teenager. When I was her age, I was squandering money and time playing Street Fighter at a smelly 7-11.

Quick heads up! I had the lovely opportunity to do a podcast interview with the ambitious, impossibly talented Hollyn Alpert for her podcast, Stories Without Borders. Hollyn is an avid fan of all things YA, and her passion for books really shows in the fact that she actually reads the books she's talking about, cover to cover. In my case, that means all four of my novels, plus the collab I did with Neal Shusterman for his Gleanings (Arc of a Scythe) anthology, plus me & Nicki's Safe Harbor story for Amazon, plus my random-ass essays! The girl is thorough to say the least.

It all made for a really fun, wide-ranging conversation not just about books, but also the writing process, oddball creative habits, and whether lemonade goes well with chocolate chip cookies. (I have yet to try that out.) We spent most of the podcast cracking up, to be honest, while Hollyn's mom stifled giggles off-camera in the opposite corner of the studio. Big, big fun. Hollyn's also interviewed authors like Abigail Hing Wen (Loveboat Taipei), Cindy Pon (Silver Phoenix), and someone named Nicola Yoon.

Check it out whenever you find yourself with nothing better to do. There's both audio and (shudder) video. See ya soon!
